Cycle for Survival–let’s fight cancer

January 2010:  Cancer sucks.  I think we can all agree with that sentiment.  So let’s do something about it.  I am riding in this year’s Chicago edition of Cycle for Survival, to help raise funds for important research to search for cures.  Without funds, there can be no research, and without research there can be no cure.  I am riding on a team with fellow dads from our children’s school, and last year our school community lost two parents to pancreatic cancer.  That is not OK.  We should not stand by and shrug our shoulders.  We should do something.  I’m not a doctor so I can’t cure cancer, but I can help raise funds.

Cycle for Survival raises funds to support important research to fight pancreatic cancer, kidney cancer, pediatric cancers, brain cancer, and many others.  Take a look at the Cycle for Survival website for all the details.

Look, everyone knows someone affected by cancer, and everyone can help.  100% of the funds raised will go directly to cancer research.  100%.  Do something.  We cannot afford to do nothing.  You can contribute to our efforts by clicking here and donating online–it is as easy as that.
